Vampire Academy Meme[5/6] quotes

↳ “And sometimes, if I was really, really lucky, he’d smile at me. A real smile, too—not the dry one that accompanied the sarcasm we tossed around so often. I didn’t want to admit it to anyone—not to Lissa, not even to myself—but some days, I lived for those smiles.”

How do you say “what a dick” in Russian?

Richelle Mead joined us at University Book Store to launch her newest book, Silver Shadows, the penultimate chapter in her Vampire Academy: Bloodlines series. Richelle is a long time friend of UBS and frequently stops by to chat with our Sci-Fi/Fantasy buyer Duane Wilkins, as well as to sign copies of her books, both new and old.

viejolie asked: "Hi, I'm a huge fan of Vampire Academy and I loved the movie. I really hope we'll be getting the sequel too.. Do you think we'll raise enough money? I'm a bit worried because it's such a high goal. I Just want to know someone else's opinion. Well, have a nice day :)"

Hi dear. I loved the movie too and I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED Frostbite! Of course the movie wasn’t perfect, but this is because the book is ALWAYS better, like… always. But for a book-to-movie-adaptation it was really good. For me the biggest problem was all the terrible marketing project supporting the movie. It killed it!!!

Well, yeah, the goal in the indiegogo is too high. I understand the principle behind it but, come one, 1,5 million dollars? I think they could have made it easier. I’m afraid now that we won’t be able to do it. But I still believe in VA passionate fandom and that we can if we start moving faster!

Have a nice day you too dear. ;)

We have been given the opportunity to get a sequel, but the only way that’s going to happen is if we raise $1.5 million by the 5th of SEPTEMBER! We are asking all fans who have had their favorite books made into movies to PLEASE HELP US! We need your help to spread the word, and donate if you can! Just $1 is PLENTY and by doing this for us we will be ETERNALLY GRATEFUL for your help! We have been promised a great script that is a PERFECT and COMPLETELY faithful to the book and we DESPERATELY want to see this movie come to life!
